PHR: Professional in Human Resources Certification

The HRCI PHR certification validates your expertise in the areas of workforce planning and employment; strategic development, human resource development, total rewards, employee and labor relations; and risk management. It is designed for HR professionals who focus on program implementation, have a tactical or logistical orientation, and are accountable to other HR professionals within the organization. 

SPHR: Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification

The HRCI SPHR certification is designed for HR professionals who design and plan HR policies, and have ultimate accountability in the HR department. Professionals should have four to seven years of HR experience, have complete knowledge in all HR disciplines, use judgment gained with time and knowledge application, and understand the business beyond the HR function.
